Kriya Yoga: The Way To The Union Of Breath And Soul
This blog of mine is a long overdue as I have been thinking a lot about Kriya Yoga and divine intervention.
Three weeks back pain in my left knee left me feeling helpless and after a lot of healing which seemed to go on, there was still no relief. The MRI showed a minuscule tear and the cure was to give steroid injection and some moderate physical exercises.
So, then I went ahead with it as I had already got the divine message that I was undergoing a Karmic cycle and a quantum leap as perhaps I had asked for my Karmic relief. Did I? Or did I not? I was in total quandary!
But then I had remembered Edmund Hilary’s words
“It is not the mountains we conquer but ourselves”.
So, I had to get out of this syndrome as
“the winds of change shape the sands of tomorrow” (Anon)
I was divinely guided to continue my Sadhana in spite of the continuous pain and numerous visits to the doctor and then of course to top it all my
well-meaning friends and relatives with their various opinions amalgamated with all their love and good wishes for me.
This pain comes in different forms for healers and no wonder Gurunath (my revered Guru) had always advised us healers to practice Kriya Yoga persistently to work out our karmic deeds — 10, 20, 30 years continuously or a life time or many lives…
So, then what is Kriya? Kriya is the action of the soul which is in our breathing. It is the union of breath and soul each time we inhale and exhale!
Do try to consciously breathing in and out and then see what happens!
Will be sharing more about Kundalini Kriya Yoga in my forthcoming blogs and videos, but if you like to know a bit more click here!
