MY AMAZING NINE DAY TREK INTO PARADISE,
MAY BE IT WAS SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE FROM
THE UNIVERSE
Contemplation every morning is my favourite pastime and there is always a gush of energy at the best of times and I frantically try and start looking for footnotes which I try to put in order (I think) and I remembered when I was pulled spiritually into trekking and back to my gypsy origins! At that time, I had no clue that I would meet Satya who would persuade me into writing blogs and video shooting my experiences!
Anyway, I found this article which I wrote two decades back – our Nine day trek into Paradise and thought I’d share it in my Blog!
Spirituality is to know the ultimate and when we travel to the hill and beyond our soul, mind and body starts getting more and more aligned with the higher ultimate consciousness, that’s why we feel so good and as a spiritual consultant staying in South of Delhi India, in my Spiritual guidance, I suggest all my students and clients to travel as much possible, travel to the hills and mountains, travel to the jungles, travels and meet the seas
The story goes like this
SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE AND HEALING FROM THE UNIVERSE
It was teamed by HP, a wonderful team leader I should say. We were all in Air force, four couples and three adventurous like-minded ladies self-included! We were travelling from Delhi to Gomukh, the Glistening Glacier of the Garwal hills above which was the abode of Lord Shiva who is the Mahandata of the Universe. Of course this was a Spiritual Guidance from the universe and I could feel the Universe twinkling down at us!
We travelled to Haridwar rightly called – ‘The gateway to heaven’ with the river Ganges flowing down from the Himalayas. This was our first stop and those many years back its waters gushed with great force and we all plunged into it and felt elated and purified and felt a huge Karma and Energy Cleansing. Haridwar has a lot of pundits who perform last rites of the deceased relatives of the Hindus and is considered one of the holy cities of India up North. We all witnessed and participated in the Ganga Aarti!
KUNDALINI RISING
The next day saw us heading towards Rishikesh of course the air had become fresher and cleaner and the mountains became more visible, the excitement had built up I surely felt my Heart Chakra expanding (Oh, Heart chakra is the main energy centre of the body and I, during my spiritual consultancies and healing sessions want my students and clients to work on it to expand it). There was a lot of eager anticipation. We reached Rishikesh and walked our way into the iron wrought Laxman Jhula, The Swarg Ashram and halted at the Gita ashram. The evening Aarti was right across from where we were putting up performed by the School children and it was a well synchronised Aarti with fascinating Sanskrit shlokas by them saluting the River Ganga! I felt a Kundalini tug in my Spine!
UNIVERSAL GRATITUDE AND LOVE
Day 3 saw us in our van continuing our climb up the Garwal hills and we were all accompanied by the River Bhagirathi accompanying us — the air had changed and the pine scented air was fanning us and the local villagers were visible with the women carrying huge bundles of fire sticks on top of their heads for cooking purposes, imagine how healthy their food must be, we had already sampled their delicious pakoras with chai as we stopped enroute a couple of times to freshen up. We drove through the small hamlet villages of Chamba, Tehri, Dharasi and Maneri (we had done 158km by now from Rishikesh) finally arrived at an ITBP (border post) Guest house at a charming fabled fairyland charming hill resort, called Mahadandi, which I’m sure is still undiscovered as even our Doctor Anil who is a seasoned trekker seemed enamoured by our fascinating surroundings. All our Chakras were surely healed by now as we were all really gushing around with pure Universal gratitude and love! Yes as a Spiritual Consultant and healer, Love and Gratitude are my favourite topic. And in these places I felt them in great abundance.
SPIRITUAL CONSULTANCY AND ENERGY HEALING GIVES ME A JOY
HP our team leader was very strict about the time schedule and on day 4 we resumed our journey at 7 am and with the changes in the landscape as we climbed we enjoyed it thoroughly! We then bathed in the hot springs of Gagnani! We passed by 2 hamlets Sukhi and Jhala with the river Bhagirathi accompanying us, turning all colours, I seem to see rainbow colours in it, and I kept giving all of us a lot of Spiritual and energy healings, I enjoy it, it’s a blessing indeed for me too. Spiritual Consultancy and healing are very very close to my heart, It brings joy to me.
We journeyed on to the beautiful sylvan hamlet of Harsil and Lanka and broke journey at Bhairongati a fascinating resort studded with beautiful high –altitude deodars.
KARMIC RETRIBUTION INDEED
Next morning it had turned positively Chilly and we donned on our woollies and we reached the Gangotri village where the holy temple of Ganga is situated. Here as history goes, is that the river Ganga had descended after remaining in suspense in the coils of Lord Shiva to provide us with our survival – water as Ganga. Not to be left behind all 12 of us jumped into the blissfully icy cold water—Viji splashing this pure water on us—pure heaven indeed! Karmic retribution!
